You will also need the right supporting props and handouts.  Lighting for example makes a stand come alive. Videos and presentation material will grab the attention of passersby and work as silent salespeople.

Giveaways, handouts and support material allow you to continue your conversation beyond the stand. Logistics such as printing in overseas markets can save a fortune on freight.

You also need to consider who will be staffing you stand as they can make or break your success.  Briefing, outfitting and preparing them with skills to tell your story are vital.

Lastly, time frames and costs. A successful stand must work hard for you on the day. But it must also be finished on time and meet your budget requirements.

The reality is trade shows have the power to bring you a large number of very targeted customers. A successful trade stand will make the most of that opportunity, allowing you to tell your story and start a conversation with those potential customers. No matter what size or type of business you operate.
